Create a custom dictionary to improve the accuracy of your transcripts. Your dictionary trains LinguSocial AI to recognize unique jargon or any words not in a standard English-language dictionary and makes sure you get the most out of our time-saving AI features. Let's take a look at how to manage a custom dictionary in LinguSocial.
Add a keyword or phrase
- Open the app
- Click on Settings on the left side menu
- Navigate to Custom Dictionaries
- Enter the keyword or phrases
- Select Save Dictionary
Important: You can enter up to 500 lines in total. Allowed characters include locale-specific letters and digits, white space characters, and special characters such as +, -, $, :, (, ), {, }, _, ., ?, @, \, ’, &, #, %, ^, *, `, <, >, ;, /. Other special characters are removed internally from the phrase.
Delete a keyword or phrase
- Open the app
- Click on Settings on the left side menu
- Navigate to Custom Dictionaries
- Select a dictionary for editing
- Delete the line of text inside of the text editor
- Select Save Dictionary
Supported languages
Custom dictionaries are not available for all languages and dialects. Below is the list of languages that support custom dictionaries.
