Active Call Controls

When it comes to business communications, the phone call is still king. LinguSocial’s phone calling system offers a wide range of advanced features and functionalities—all built in—that are designed to enhance the phone calling experience. Let's take a look at your call controls during an active call.

Mute a call

  • To mute your microphone during an active call in the LinguSocial app, select Mute.
  • This will mute your microphone, but you'll still be able to hear the other caller.
  • Select Unmute if you'd like to unmute your microphone.

Access keypad during a call

Did you find yourself in an IVR menu? No problem!

To access the keypad:

  • Click on the Dialpad button

Change your audio input and output devices 

Want to use a different microphone or output the sound to another speaker? No problem, here is how to do it:

  • Click on the More button
  • Select Manage Devices
  • Select the microphone or output device
  • Done

Accessibility features: Text-to-Speech

Customers with hearing impairments can use our text-to-speech accessibility feature. It enables them to type messages that are converted to audio via text-to-speech technology in real-time. You can use it during transcribed and also translated calls with the help of our Phone Call Interpreter AI. 

  • Click on the More button
  • Activate the Accessibility switch. This will display a text input field on your screen.  
  • Type in your text and press the submit button
  • Audio is generated and played for both callers
