Want to make your meetings more collaborative and ensure comprehension from all participants?

LinguSocial Meetings allows you to share your screen with all meeting Participants, either your entire screen or just a single tab.

Let's take a look at sharing your screen in LinguSocial Meetings.

Start a screen share

To share your screen during a meeting, select the Share Screen Icon from your bottom bar controls.

Choose what you'd like to share:

  • Entire Screen
  • Application Windo
  • Specific Tab
  • Select Share

While sharing a screen, you'll see an alert in the top-right corner indicating your screenshare is active. If you're using dual monitors, you'll need to also select the screen to share by scrolling down in the pop-up.

Stop sharing your screen

There are two ways to stop sharing your screen.

  • Selecting the Screen Share icon again
  • Select Stop Sharing from the screen share indicator

Share audio during screen share

Imagine sharing your screen during a presentation with a large audience. You play a demo video from one of the slides, and even though the participants can see the video, they can’t hear the audio. Or, the audio quality is muffled because you're trying to position the mic in just the right way so that it can pick up sounds from the video.

Don't worry; LinguSocial lets you share system audio with your audience.

1. Select the Share your screen icon

2. Select the Share tab audio checkbox at the bottom left

When sharing a browser window or tab, audio will stream with the screen you're sharing.

Note: If you're sharing your entire screen, system audio will only stream with the screen share if you use a Windows device. If you're on a Mac OS, system audio can only be shared via the browser tab.
